Ganpati Bappa Moriya!!!!

Well...this wasn't supposed to be my first post on my blog. But an unplanned visit to a nearby market gave me such a good time to see the spirit of Ganeshotsav.
Its been 4 years in Mumbai, I have never gone out to see the festival celebrated in Mumbaiya Iissstyle. This time planning to go out with kids & the camera to enjoy the festivities.

No matter whats the occasion, Indian women get the opportunity to get dressed up in festive mood. Loved the nose ring of this old lady.

The beautiful marigold garlands for Mumbai's favorite God Ganpati.
I love when people pose for my shutterbug. The lady was so excited to get clicked, she made me click many pictures & approved this one as her best. Later she curiously asked about my phone that is it a laptop or computer.
This Gujrati family making sure to make the most beautiful Garlands & decoration for Ganpati.

And finally I sat down for Mehandi. This guy is from Delhi & doesn't know Marathi. For next 20 minutes I became his Marketing person telling the ladies the pricing for Mehandi. Hope I brought some business for him.

But this post is not complete without my two double delights.
See how both girls reacted to my Mehandi. And I had fun teasing them with my Mehandi. My Mehandi brought a chaos in home.
Have a look:
